Från Jord till Bord
Medan inredningsplanering är bunden till byggtekniska och långsiktiga krav, möjliggör tillfälliga rumsligheter som en dekor eller scenografi en helt annan frihet. Jag arbetar intuitivt för att skapa en rumsupplevelse för alla sinnen. Som här, en vårdukning som hyllar den österbottniska mattraditionen och närodlade råvaror. Dekoren gjordes för tv-serien Mat Så in i Norden i samarbete med cateringföretaget Smak & Form. Dekoren symboliserar livet som spricker fram ur jorden på våren. Till middag serverades närodlade vårprimörer, med inslag av blomdoft och fågelkvitter.
Att sätta ner tid och stort engagemang på något som finns för ett ögonblick, för att sen försvinna, finner jag fascinerande. De tillfälliga rummen uppstår i mötet mellan människor, just där och då, men lever kvar i minnet långt efter att samtalen och skratten tystnat.

While interior design planning is bound by structural and long-term requirements, temporary spaces such as a décor or scenography allow an entirely different kind of freedom. I work intuitively to create a spatial experience that engages all the senses. Here, for example, a spring table setting celebrating the culinary traditions of Ostrobothnia and locally grown ingredients. The décor was created for the TV series Mat Så in i Norden in collaboration with local catering company Smak & Form. The tablesetting symbolizes life rising from the earth in spring. The dinner consisted of locally grown spring vegetables, accompanied by the scent of spring flowers and birdsong.
I find it fascinating to devote time and passion to something that exists only for a moment before disappearing. The temporary spaces come to life in the meeting between people, right there and then, yet they remain in memory long after the conversations and laughter have faded.

Sail Together. Stay Together.
Sail Together - Stay Together var temat för Baltic Yachts Rendezvous i Jakobstad, 2017. Under festligheterna döptes Baltic 175 Pink Gin vilket satte tonen för dekorkonceptet som för övrigt var inspirerat av den finska midsommaren. Jag ansvarade för formgivning av tältområdet och festdekoren. Festdeltagarna fick njuta av lokala delikatesser och båtbyggeri i världsklass i strålande sommarväder.

Sail Together – Stay Together was the theme of the Baltic Yachts Rendezvous in Jakobstad in 2017. During the festivities, the Baltic 175 Pink Gin was christened, setting the tone for the décor concept, which was inspired by Finnish Midsummer. I was responsible for the design of the outdoor event area, from tent set up to flower decorations. Guests enjoyed local delicacies and world-class boatbuilding in glorious Finnish summer weather.
